Do you have an especially photogenic (or, alternatively, especially UNphotogenic) pet that you think deserves as much public attention as possible? Well here’s your chance! The Nevada Humane Society is hosting a contest to select two pets to have their likenesses plastered across the Animal Control Officer vehicle.
Throughout the month of June, the Humane Society will be accepting entries from Carson City residents, and at the end of the month, Mayor Lori Bagwell — a long-time animal lover and Nevada Humane Society supporter — will be selecting the two winners.
Steps to Enter the Contest:
1. Email a picture of your pet to: [email protected]
2. Be sure to include the following details:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your pet’s name
- Your pet’s favorite place to visit in Carson City
- Any details you want to share with us about how amazing your pet is (optional)
3. Click send
It’s that simple!
The two pets selected as the winners of this contest will each receive a professional photo shoot to ensure they have high-quality glamour shots we can use on the Animal Control Officer vehicle and their owners will get to keep these beautiful photos.
“We are excited to select a pair of Carson City pets to be the new faces of our Animal Control Officer vehicle,” said Kristin Sickler of the Nevada Humane Society. “The pets selected as our Photo Contest winners will ride-along with our Animal Control Officers everyday while they do their life-saving work keeping the pets and people in our community safe.”
